Post Picks – Comics, The Universes Change, Again

With both DC and Marvel moving toward new continuality’s, they seem to be trying to make the fans happy in the lead up. But the questions still remain? Will DC go back to the old timeline, and will Marvel just reboot the entire thing? Only time will tell. Until that time comes, enjoy the comics. Superman #38 I haven’t really reviewed Superman in a while because he wasn’t doing too much. That chang...

Post’s Picks – My Original Sin is Comic Reviews

DC is pretty much doing all their books as Future’s End tie ins, while Marvel is putting a lot into the end of Original Sin. Both seem like cool prospects, but I’ve seen great stories end badly, and I’ve seen tie ins ruin storylines. I hope that neither of these are true. Only one way to find out…on to reviews. Justice League #33 DC’s only non tie in book this week. Justice League has been slowly ...

If Superman was in the Marvel U

Recently it has been brought to light that FOX’s Rupert Murdoch has tried and failed to purchase Time Warner for a bid of $80 billion. Now other names are being thrown into the ring; like Apple, Google, China’s wealthiest man Wang Jianlin and funny enough Disney (who owns Marvel). Of course it almost certainly would never happen. The two biggest comic publishers under the same roof, it would be pu...

Post’s Picks Comic Reviews Week 07

This week saw many twist and turns within the comics. If you’re a fan of M Night Shyamalan (What a Twist!) then this week is right up your ally. There are too many book for me to review them all, but you have such things as the return of Wolverine, Loki becoming something of a good guy, and a new Ms. Marvel. So much is happening in the world of comics, that if you don’t take a second to really see...

Black Widow #02 Review

Black Widow #002 Reviewed by Delphine Batier It’s been a long time coming. Although she’s appeared regularly in various comic books since the 1960s and had several independent stories (and very good at that), it’s only now that Black Widow has her own regular series. Since she’s appearing in her third Marvel film this year and has never been more popular, that is well deser...

Recently I interviewed artist/creator Abdul H. Rashid. Full disclosure, I’ve actually known Abdul for several years as we both worked for a company called A.P.N.G. Enterprises on a comic book to film project called NEW-GEN which is in development and still being published. Abdul H. Rashid is a native of Flint, MI. A graphic illustrator, creator and now soon to be publisher of his own origina...

Trying to up the ante and make Spidey a bit more epic like the other Marvel films. We’ll see if it works. Full trailer du...
